Ballast Water Treatment System
Alfa Laval PureBallast 3 is an automated inline ballast water treatment system for biological disinfection of ballast water. Operating without chemicals, it combines initial filtration with UV treatment to remove organisms in accordance with stipulated limits. PureBallast 3 treats ballast water without chemicals, combining high-performance filtration with enhanced UV treatment. In the UV reactor(s), specially designed synthetic quartz lamp sleeves transmit an extended wavelength spectrum that provides more UV light. Together with the internal reactor design, this ensures optimal UV dosage with very low energy consumption. An expanded range of reactor sizes further reduces power needs in specific configurations.
Boilers
Whether you are talking about Oil/gas-fired steam boilers; Oil/Gas-fired Composite Steam Boilers; or Exhaust Gas Economizer, we have them all covered. Especially on smaller vessels, a composite boiler can be an economical solution that saves space and reduces pumping needs. Available in single-inlet or multiple-inlet configurations, the Aalborg OC-TCi is a plug-and-play solution that can be fired with either fuel or exhaust gas. It is a marine composite boiler that produces steam through fuel combustion and/or exhaust gas waste heat recovery. With its high efficiency and its ability to utilize existing thermal energy, it can reduce environmental impact while providing reliable heating for marine operations. Thanks to its “ready boiler” concept, it is also prepared for today’s and tomorrow’s emission-reducing fuels, including LNG, biofuels and methanol.
Fresh Water Generators
In Alfa Laval, We are here to help you by making sure that you have fresh water for both equipment and personnel to meet your offshore needs. We employ different technologies like Mechanical Vapour Compression; Multi-effect Desalination; Plate-based Hot Water Loop; Single-stage freshwater Generators; and Two-stage Freshwater Generators to provide you with fresh water for your offshore domestic needs.
The Alfa Laval ORCA Offshore fresh water generator is based on proven vacuum vapor compression technology generating high-quality and reliable water supply for offshore conditions. The system is only requiring electricity to drive the distillation process and is more robust than other technologies on the market. The ORCA is built for uptime with a compact and robust design, ensuring a long working life.
Heat Exchangers
These are heat transfer equipment designed to help you meet all your heating and cooling needs. In our capability, we have Plate heat exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, Scraped surface heat exchangers, and Tubular heat exchangers.
In our Gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers, Alfa Laval doesn’t do average. Whether it is our multi-purpose Industrial range; the Semi-welded industrial range for refrigeration and exacting processes; the Hygienic range for food, beverage and pharma applications; or the Specialized range for condensation, evaporation and fibrous media – you buy into reduced cost of ownership and increased efficiency and safety.
Tank Cleaning Machines
In other to meet your Tank Cleaning needs we have different technologies for the cleaning of chemical or oil residues in tanks no matter the geometry of the tanks, viz: Rotary Jet Heads; Rotary Spray Heads; Wall mounted Cleaning Device for tank cleaning.
The Alfa Laval GJ product line offers a wide range of tank cleaning machines for industrial applications, such as paint, steel, pulp & paper, chemicals, and oil & gas. The range spans from being able to clean small storage/process tanks to the big industrial fermenters and storage tanks of sizes more than 5678m3 (1.5 million gallons). The line also includes a special unit to clean underground storage tanks through one-way opening
